Call for Abstracts

Participants who wish to make scientific contributions are welcome to submit POSTER abstracts from this web site. Please note that there are NO Oral Sessions at this Congress.
All abstracts must be submitted online.
Accepted abstracts will be published as the supplement issue of the Journal of Toxicological Sciences and distributed at the Congress.

Instruction for Authors
- The presenting authors MUST submit abstract by their selves.
- One may submit only ONE abstract as the presenting author.
- The abstract must be written in English and contain a brief, clear statement of conclusion.
- The abstract body should be below 250 words.
- The abstract may NOT contain figure or table.
Submission Procedures
- Click the Abstract Submission button on this page. Abstract submission is made using the online submission system.
- Applicants registering for the first time are requested to enter their personal information and make a new account first.
- Follow the directions on the abstract submission screen, and fill in the required fields. The items you are required to fill in are as follows:
- Presenting author’s personal information
- Name of authors (no more than 20 authors), affiliated institutions (no more than 15 institutions)
- Title of presentation
- Abstract body
- The abstract body should be below 250 words.
(Note: Do not include the title, names and institutions of authors to the abstract body.)- Please make your abstract by MS Word file (.doc OR .docx) and submit it through the online system.

After finishing the submission of your abstract, you will receive "notification message" to your registered e-mail address (ID) for confirming its receipt. If you have not received such an e-mail within 24 hours, your abstract may not have been received. Please check and register it again if necessary.
Modify and update your abstract
Abstracts may be changed until deadline of abstract submission (March 5, 2012). Click the “Modify, Change” button on your “Menu Page”.
After the deadline of the abstract submission, no modifications, changes, or additions whatsoever to the abstract body, authors (either first author or co-authors), or affiliations are permitted.
Please take great care to ensure that no mistakes are made before your submission.

Notification of acceptance
The Organizing Committee will make a final decision of acceptance/rejection. A notification of acceptance/rejection will be sent to you by e-mail (ID) around the end of April.

- Poster should be brought to the congress by presenters and not mailed, as the Organizing Committee cannot be responsible for loss or mishandling.
- Presenters are responsible for posting and removing their own materials.
- Audio-visual equipment may not be used.
Awards
The Organizing Committee encourages young investigators’ participation. The abstracts are of outstanding quality will receive Award. An applicant is able to apply both awards.
If you are eligible for the Awards and wish to apply, please select "Yes, I apply for the Awards" when you submit the abstract by the Congress web site. This option will appear on the last page during your on-line abstract submission process.

Young Investigators’ Award
An applicant must:- Be under the age of 40 as of April 1, 2012;
- Be the presenter of poster presentation;
- Be pre-registered for the Congress and complete the payment of registration fee before one's presentation;
- Obtain a visa for entering Japan prior to the Congress, if necessary;
